This week’s theme is “Mountain Wisdom”! So, May we all stand tall like a mountain; remember, even mountains have to deal with uphill struggles. 

• Yoga Pose of the Month: Mountain Pose (Tadasana)

  • Benefits of Tadasana:

  – Improves posture, balance and body awareness.

     – Strengthens core, thighs, knees, and ankles.

     – Fosters a sense of grounding and stability.

• Mudra: Anjali Mudra (Salutation Seal)

  • Benefits:

     – Enhances focus and concentration.

     – Balances the right and left hemispheres of the brain.

     – Cultivates a sense of gratitude and inner harmony.

• Chakra: Root Chakra (Muladhara)

  • Mantra for Muladhara: “I am grounded, I am secure, I am rooted like a wise old tree.”

• Sanskrit Word: Namaste 

Meaning: (The divine in me honors the divine in you)

A Thich Nhat Hanh Pondering to Live by: 

“Smile, breathe, and go slowly”.
